LOG CABIN LETTERS: PART 3

Sometimes we all need a break from the intense jigsaw puzzling of camp's daily photo stream. Might I suggest a quick dip in the cool pool of ambiguity that is your child's letters?

THE OKAY-BUT-NOT-OKAY

Dear mom and dad,

Camp is sorta ok. This morning I woke up early because the girl in the top bunk kicked me in the face as she climbed down to pee!! It’s fine – I was sort of up anyway, because the fan you sent me broke, and the girl who sleeps next to me (who I'm pretty sure we dis-requested, but whatever...) snores . I think it's her, but it was hard to tell with my eye swelling shut?! I’ll go to the infirmary and hopefully they let me zoom you. Can’t wait to see you soon even if it’s just my one good eye.

THE IT-WASNT-ME

Dear mom and dad,

Camp is great!! Oh, and my counselor got fired! But I’m pretty sure it had nothing to do with us. All we did was tell the group leader that she was throwing up all night -- because we don’t want to break our inspection streak and then get called up last for ice cream. We didn't say anything about cursing or drinking or a boyfriend or anything like that!! BUT still , she she seemed really mad when she was packing, which is sad because I liked her and her boyfriend.

Anyway, I’m on the red team! Send stuff! Xox

THE AS-IF-YOU-HAVE-ANYTHING-ELSE-TO-DO

Dear mom and dad,

HERE IT IS!!!

Visiting day list:

*Suncreen!! (Did you forget??! Don’t worry mom, I’ve borrowed a few times…)

*Those shorts with the thingys on the edge (NOT the thin ones, the thick ones that we saw in that store before camp.)

*Shoes that fit!!

* Nerds: gummy clusters - the ones with the squishy center (ONLY Sour of course)

*m&ms, Twix, ROLOS (dark and salted caramel PLS!)

*Oreos (birthday cake, mega stuff , smores)

*Crystal Light (diet drink, all flavors …IMPORTANT!!!)

*Orecchiette with peas and Salmon (SETTE ONLY please)

*Sables?

*A toothbrush (cant find mine! Did you pack one??)

*A hairdryer but like one with batteries

*A Keurig with LOTS of extra pods (cant remember which ones I like but you should know…)

*Anything else you think I might like from that place we went in Paris before camp with the stuff that was cool...

THE TOO BUSY FOR TWO

Dear grandma,

I just sent mom a letter and I have to go so can you ask her to send it to you? It’s basically everything I said in that letter except I miss you the most! They make me write her. It’s so dumb! Get the letter! I love you!

OMG --- I got up on one ski!!! It was soooo fun. But I hate it here and I haven’t pooped in 6 days Can you pick me up and can we get a boat?
